Since 1924 the historic borough of Carrickfergus has played host to an annual music festival. Over the years, Carrick Festival has developed into a two week extravaganza of music and drama featuring a host of talented individuals and enjoyed by enthusiastic audiences culminating in a grand gala night rounding off the event and is one of the town's premier annual events.
